AnyDisk keeps showing wait for image. On Mar 28, 2020 at 19:29 UTC. Your AnyDesk may needs to update. In some cases, AnyDesk did not transmit any image (black image) when the screen was rotated in Windows 7 with Aero enabled. The base64 password feature for anydesk: links did not work with all configurations. The forbidden cursor is displayed correctly again. Basically with a laptop what often happens is when your lid is closed and the monitor is off, your computer stops registering the display driver completely so no picture is being sent through Anydesk for you to see. The only way I've found to resolve this so that it works the way I want it to is to intentionally break the ACPI Lid driver.

Then from main window select 'Process Manager' item. Wait for few seconds, then after the process list appears scroll down to find anydesk.exe file you want to delete or stop. Click the anydesk.exe process file then click the right mouse button then from the list select 'Add to the block list'. This will prevent this process to run.
